In an era where precision, sustainability, and innovation define the future of industrial operations, ELTEK SA<\/strong> once again reaffirmed its dedication to leadership in the field of explosives engineering. On May 23rd and 24th, 2025<\/strong>, we proudly represented Greece and our professional community at the EFEE Council Meeting<\/strong> in Tallinn, Estonia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Hosted by the European Federation of Explosives Engineers (EFEE)<\/strong>, this prestigious event brought together corporate members, experts, and decision-makers from across Europe to shape the direction of our industry through dialogue, collaboration, and strategic alignment.<\/p>\n The EFEE<\/strong> is a globally recognized organization that unites engineers and companies specializing in explosives and blasting technology. Its mission is to promote the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.<\/p>\n The Council Meeting<\/strong> in Tallinn, held at the centrally located Nordic Hotel Forum<\/strong>, was part of EFEE\u2019s biannual governance activities. It included:<\/p>\n Committee meetings<\/strong> on Friday, May 23rd<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Board and Council meetings<\/strong> on Saturday, May 24th<\/p>\n<\/li>\n The Annual General Meeting (AGM)<\/strong>, where key decisions were made regarding EFEE’s operations, budget, and leadership<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Our participation was both symbolic and practical. As a committed EFEE corporate member<\/strong>, ELTEK SA took part in:<\/p>\n Committee discussions on environmental compliance, EU directives, and safety procedures<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Board-level sessions reviewing the federation’s performance and strategy<\/p>\n<\/li>\n The AGM, which included voting on amendments to the EFEE Constitution, Board elections, and financial reviews<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n This hands-on involvement enables us to directly contribute to shaping industry standards, policies, and educational initiatives.<\/p>\n During the various sessions, several important themes emerged:<\/p>\n Delegates discussed the role of digitalization and AI in blast design, site monitoring, and risk mitigation. ELTEK is already exploring such technologies to improve precision and reduce environmental impact.<\/p>\n With EU legislation becoming more stringent, discussions around harmonized safety protocols and environmental reporting standards were a central part of the agenda.<\/p>\n EFEE continues to focus on the professional development of engineers through training programs and certifications. We support these initiatives and advocate for expanding them across Southeast Europe.<\/p>\n There was an emphasis on stronger communication between corporate members, universities, and public institutions.
